Corroded batteries. Product is awesome. That being said, the batteries were corroded. The new batteries were pretty pricey. Since it was a birthday present, I had no time to return it. I did notice that in other reviews, they said the batteries were dead. Once we got it working, the voice was very clear so we were able to understand all the different sayings.She immediately started feeling better and totally loves the bobble head and the book I bought this for my wife thinking of the holidays but gave it a bit early since she had a cold. Sure it's a little hard to hear, but if you love Bob Ross, you get it!Cute but could use sound improvement. It's adorable and tiny. My daughter recently became obsessed with Bob Ross when she came across his show on Netflix. The sound could be better. It's like they had the TV on and just recorded him. Not super clear or loud. But still really cute and she loves it.
